On Monday, Quentin Harris will be joining us at our Whole School Meeting in recognition of Orange Shirt Day (Orange Shirt Day is an opportunity for First Nations, local governments, schools and communities to come together in the spirit of reconciliation and hope for generations of children to come.) Everyone is welcome to join us at our Whole School Meetings so please come if you can. Quentin will join us to give us a general introduction to the topic of Orange Shirt Day and then will visit classrooms during the day to talk more in depth regarding the residential school experience (grade 5), the welcome pole, animals and various Fall/Autumn themes. |
