Together we will explore how we can take care of the earth and ourselves. Drawing on the traditions of mindfulness and social-emotional education, we will develop tools for building empathy and self-esteem as we learn to truly connect with the natural world, self, and each other. Come join us for an irresistible blend of ecology, nature study, herbology, inspired art, music, imagination, inspiration and fun, culminating in the Faerie Ball! Kind Empowering Girls to Live from the Inside Out A Day Camp for Girls Ages 10-14 July 16-20, 10am-4pm $220 KIND is a life-changing experience focused on inspiring girls to build healthy relationships with others and with themselves, while empowering them to realize their dreams and better the world with confidence and KINDness. Innovative art, music, some herbal kitchen magic, plenty of fun, cooperative games, heartfelt sharing, and Random Acts of Kindness abound at KIND. Through joy-filled, interactive activities, KIND gives girls a tangible set of tools that promote empathy, a positive self-image, healthy self-care, and the courage to be a force of loving change in the world. Rooted in the traditions of mindfulness and social and emotional education, KIND aims to eliminate girl-to-girl bullying and develop self-esteem. An important part of our week will focus on cultivating meaningful community engagement and "taking it to the streets", as we develop a creative action plan that will benefit a cause that speaks to our hearts. |
