Please find attached a poster for the Salt Spring Arts Council upcoming 2020 Art Makers Lab for ages 6-13. Briony Penn - Art Makers Lab - The Naturalist’s Sketchbook: The Salish Sea Local biologist,artist and environmentalist Briony Penn will lead 4 art making labs to guide youth in the art of sketchbook observation and documentation. Each youth will have a sketchbook to fill with their own drawings and observations of the plants, animals and landscape.
Final youth works will be exhibited in Against the Current: Orca+ Salmon at Mahon Hall, Feb. 14-23. For ages 6-13.
Sat. Jan. 25, Feb. 1, 8 & 15, 10-1pm at Mahon Hall. *Please note students will walk to the water front across the street from Mahon Hall to do sketching. $165 includes all materials. Bursaries available. to register https://ssartscouncil.com/product/art-lab-sketchbook/Thank you |
