Andrea and Barb, two of the School District 64 Bus Drivers, will be here at Fernwood on Tuesday next week to hold “Bus Safety” talks and a tour of a bus for all students at Fernwood School. Students will learn the proper procedure for crossing the street safely to and from the school bus and also how good behaviour on a school bus impacts positively on everyone's safety. Please also see the attached "All About School Buses" pamphlet from our SD64 Bus Transportation Services including a note highlighting information in regard to Kindergarten and Grade 1 Bus Riders: "Kindergarten and Grade 1 students require a parent/guardian or older sibling to be at the school bus drop-off location to ensure safe arrival at home, otherwise the student will be transported back to School District Plant Services until safe pickup can be arranged." |
