During Fire Prevention Week at Fernwood School, students entered a draw for an opportunity to be " Fire Chief for a Day" with Salt Spring Fire and Rescue. Christopher will not only be picked up at home in a Fire Engine and driven to school, but the engine will pick him up at school and take him for lunch at the Fire Hall before returning to school AGAIN in the Fire Truck! This year's winner is: Christopher Jason in Ms. Andison's Grade 5 class. |
