Cooking and Nutrition Program in Ms Kucille's Class

Every Tuesday afternoon, students in Ms. Kucilles grade 3/4 class have eagerly been cooking up more than wholesome meals as they are building confidence, team-working skills and pride. So far, they have chopped up colourful Friendship Fruitsalad and Blackbean and Corn Salsa served alongside Cheese Quesadillas which they carefully grilled over “Survival Stoves.”  Upcoming cooking lessons include local Field trips to Country Grocer and the Twig and Buoy Restaurant.  This program is made possible due to class parents kindly donating Country Grocer receipts, a generous $100 gift card from Country Grocer and amazing parent volunteers.
