Students mainly in Grade 3, 4 and 5 who are in the Choir, are going to the CBC Music Challenge, as part of our Music program at Fernwood. It is a Canada-wide contest where they will learn a Canadian song, videotape it, and enter it in the contest, with a chance to win some great prizes for the music program. It will be taped the morning of Wednesday October 30 with a group of students from Salt Spring Elementary, which is the best part! Please return and sign the district permission to allow your student to participate in this 2-school videotaping where they will need to travel by bus with chaperones to Salt Spring Elementary and back, that morning.
